Making a factory safety system work on an aftermarket rear end.
Problem. A rear-wheel-drive performance build replaced its factory independent rear with a four-link, full-floater axle. That leaves no provision for the wheel-speed sensing the vehicle's ABS, traction and stability systems rely on — so those systems stop working and the car cannot pass certification.
Why it stalled. Several workshops declined. Nobody would commit to making the factory system work with aftermarket floater hubs.
What we did. Designed and CNC-machined custom sensor rings and mounting brackets that carry the wheel-speed sensors, the rear calipers and relocated handbrake calipers — packaging all of it into the clearance available to run a ring on each hub. A fit-check template was supplied before final machining.
Outcome: factory ABS restored, traction and stability control functional, brackets CNC machined and LVVTA-approved. Certified and back on the road.
